The EcoSmart Igloo Glass Fireplace is designed with a futuristic appeal to enhance any contemporary décor. Designed by Paul Cohen, this EcoSmart Fire Designer fireplace offers a unique and distinctive appeal. It’s distinctive and original, featuring a toughened glass surround that conveys a ‘disappearing’ effect. A stainless steel bench is suspended between the glass surround, and this unique form allows the flame to ‘dance’ in many directions off the reflective glass panels, generating ambience and warmth and ensuring a stunning centerpiece. Created as a portable work of art, the Igloo’s fireplace's sleek, minimalist lines add an element of chic to residential units, apartments, houses, and commercial premises including offices, bars and restaurants. Fueled by denatured ethanol - an environmentally friendly, renewable energy - the Igloo, like the rest of the Designer Range, is clean and green fireplace.

The Igloo is a rectangular shaped fireplace. The EcoSmart Fire Igloo is designed for installation in units, apartments, houses, and commercial premises including offices, bars and restaurants. The surrounds are made of toughened Starfire glass (low iron). The glass panels used are sheets of 8mm glass (0.31") cut to measure. The safety glass is designed to withstand high temperature variations. When assembled, the glass panels are butt joined and held together by the shelf. The shelf is made of high grade stainless steel. The three glass panels are connected to the shelf using custom designed stainless steel screws.

Stylish and striking, the Zeta fireplace is nothing if not original. Designed by John Dimopoulos, director of Geoform, Design & Architects Firm in Sydney. The EcoSmart Zeta fireplace is so-named because of its elliptical shape and pays homage to its Greek ‘origins’. A clever fusion of timber, leather and stainless steel, the portable Zeta fireplace sits on a brushed or polished stainless steel swivel base. The plywood body of the fire is shaped from a high frequency heated aluminum mold into the perfect elliptical shape. A ventless stainless steel firebox insert is molded to the internal face of the plywood, and the outer surface is upholstered in leather available in four colors. The toughened glass screens that sit either side of the fire enhance the stunning visual effect created by the flame. Two options are available for the outer look of the leather stitching detail.

From the 14th to the 19th of April Moooi presented the many faces of its new products at their new showroom in Milan for the 49th Edition of Il Salone del Mobile, the world’s most famous furniture fair. In via Tortona 37 the newest creations of Marcel Wanders, Arihiro Miyake, Nika Zupanc, Neri & Hu and Bertjan Pot were presented in combination with products extensions from Maarten Baas, Raimond Puts and Fresh West.
